Our first beer "First Yard" is a 3.8% session bitter, dark copper in colour, a smooth, roasted finish with delicate hop/malt aroma.

 

Our second beer "One Foot in the Yard" is a golden, premium ale at 4.5% abv. If you like a beer with a fruity, robust character then this is for you. It is made using the finest crystal and pale malts and hopped with Target and Cascade hops.

BEER of the FESTIVAL at Darlo Camra Rhythm & Blues Festival 2008

NEW ALE!! Our third beer, "Black as Owt Stout" is now available in The Surtees Arms. This dark, traditional stout made its debut at our Hallowe'en festival and was an immediate hit. At 4.2% it offers a thirst-quenching alternative with roasted coffee flavours and a medium-bitter finish.
